The
goals of the Parts Department at Maybury Material Handling
have always been to reduce downtime, enhance worker
safety and reduce customers' operating costs, through
expertise and dedication. The Parts Department has many
capabilities that help to provide efficient means of
handling inventory and other customer needs. Our Parts
Department provides customers with access to $600,000
in inventory. The computer-controlled inventory system
monitors changing demands and keeps the inventory continually
updated. Maybury is an authorized dealer for Crown,
Kalmar, Hytrol, Nilfisk-Advance, Kent, Steinbock, and
Taylor Dunn. We are also able to supply parts for TCM,
Toyota, Yale, Clark, Hyster and many others.
Maybury's
Parts Department reduces downtime and provides the customer
with a 94% off-shelf availability. It also provides
the customer with computer-generated parts history and
usage reports and also recommends re-stocking inventory
based on orderhistory.
Parts
orders may be placed online 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, once a customer contacts us for a User ID number.

Parts
Consignment Inventory
The Parts Consignment Inventory allows a customer to
stock Maybury's parts in a cabinet or on shelves, supplied
by Maybury, for the customer to use as needed. We will
work in partnership with the customer's company to ensure
that it has an adequate supply of parts at all times.
There are several benefits to the Parts Consignment
Inventory. This program reduces downtime by ensuring
that parts are available in clearly-identified inventory,
ready for the customer's immediate use. Maybury provides
the highest quality parts. No "will-fit" parts
are inventoried, unless specified or acknowledged by
the customer. The program involves no capital investment
from the customer, as Maybury owns the inventory until
the customer uses it. Maybury routinely rotates obsolete
stock and adds faster-moving items, so there is no risk
of owning obsolete inventory. Parts Consignment Inventory
includes weekly monitoring, usage reporting and invoicing.
Inventory is counted, maintained and replenished by
Maybury. There are no freight or delivery charges on
parts maintained in consignment inventory, nor is there
inventory tax or interest.

Parts
Inventory Management
Parts Inventory Management is handled similarly to consignment
inventories, with the major difference being that the
customer purchases and owns the inventory, and the customer
supplies or purchases the storage method. The benefit
of managed inventory is a reduction of the customer's
need for support staff. Maybury will inventory the customer's
parts on a weekly basis and replenish as needed. The
customer saves freight and delivery costs on replenished
items, which will be placed in the customer's inventory
the following week when Maybury returns to inventory
the stock. Unused or obsolete parts may be returned
semiannually for credit with no penalty.

Crown
New Motor Replacement Program
The Crown New Motor Replacement Program offers several
benefits to the customer. Genuine Crown motors are coupled
with a core value exchange program and Crown's low prices
to make the prices of new motors competitive with rebuilt
motors. New stockpicker and rider pallet truck drive
motors have 30% more thermal capacity and horsepower
than their outsourced predecessors. Tongue-and-groove
end bells and motor frame design withstand the forces
of shock, vibration, plugging, acceleration and braking.
Air flow and cooling have been improved, and a better
radial brush design has increased brush life. Quick-release
brush covers have reduced both PM times and the risk
of damage. Crown manufacturing produces a better-balanced
motor, with virtual elimination of vibration and brush
chatter at any speed, generating longer motor and component
life. All Crown motors have a "Class H" insulation.
The Crown New Motor Replacement program increases uptime
and performance and provides a longer life, due to improved
designs, increased thermal capabilities and nearly-perpetual
repair parts availability. The warranty is one full
year (excluding brushes), with no limitation on hours
of usage. The program includes a low initial price and
a core exchange value for the customer's existing motor,
regardless of its condition.

Load
Wheel and Bearing Replacement Program
The Load Wheel and Bearing Replacement Program provides
the customer with the best wheel for his or her application
and provides test criteria to prove performance and
value against competitive wheels and bearings. Maybury
Material Handling represents manufacturers of load wheels
designed to work in any environment. For optimum maintenance
costs, simply buy the wheels that last the longest.

Fork
Replacement Program
The Fork Replacement Program provides quality forks
manufactured by Crown. These forks are produced using
high-grade steel and the latest technology in tensile
strength design. To preserve uniform grain flow, the
entire length of the fork is roll forged. Accurate forming,
quality finish preparation and inspection of each fork
complete the process, ensuring quality, strength and
value. Crown offers a variety of forks, including ITA
Class II and III forks to 6,000 pound capacity, and
full tapered chisel and polished forks. An important
point to remember is that fork wear at the blade must
not exceed 10% of the original thickness. Wear over
10% will result in a serious and compromising loss of
fork load rating capacity, so remember to replace worn
forks. Customers can order forks through Maybury Material
Handling and are encouraged to ask Customer Service
Representatives to survey their fork condition and check
for wear with fork wear calipers.
